工笔人物画是中国绘画中非常重要的艺术形式,也是一门精工细琢的艺术功夫,它的产生早于其他中国画种,它自身有着其他画种不可替代的魅力,在艺术发展史上占有独特的地位。随着我国漫长的绘画历史的演变,传统工笔人物画逐渐形成了完整的绘画体系。不同时期的工笔人物画表达不同时期的人文背景、环境特点,工笔人物画艺术体系的形成是历代艺术家思想的结晶,传统工笔人物画蕴藏了中国创痛文化的精髓,积淀了世代相传的实践经验,形成了民族性审美性特点。
