研究了连续线偏振光在胆甾型液晶中传播时偏振态的变化,推导出描述其变化的解析表达式.当脉冲宽度短于10-(14)s的超短偏振光脉冲通过足够长的胆甾型液晶后,其主频谱的半宽度受到压缩,并且傍带幅度受到明显的压制.
The polarization state of continuous linearly polarized light propagating in cholesteric liquid crystal is studied, and the analytic expression describing its variation is deduced. When the ultrashort-polarized light pulse with a pulse width shorter than 10- (14) s passes through a sufficiently long cholesteric liquid crystal, the half-width of its main spectrum is compressed and the band width is significantly suppressed.
