近年来,开平市人大常委会依法履行监督职权,通过执法检查、听取和审议工作报告、专题视察等多种形式,加大对全市水利建设的督促和支持力度,有力推动了水利建设工作。该市政府及水利局主要领导多次说:“我市水利建设发展,人大给予了极大支持。”人大代表和群众说:“人大关注水利热点难点问题,积极为我们解忧办实事。”
