At present, the inspection and testing institutions in China are in a crucial period of consolidation and reform. On August 1, 2015, the newly revised Measures for the Administration of the Accreditation of Testing and Testing Institutions (Order No. 163) and the Measures for the Administration of Certification Bodies (Decree No. 164) shall be implemented simultaneously. The promulgation of the two new “Measures” is conducive to standardizing the practice of certification bodies and certified personnel and promoting the healthy and standardized development of the certification market. At the same time, it is also conducive to the uniform standardization of regulatory authorities at all levels and administration by law and strict supervision. So, what are the major revisions of the two “measures” and why should they be revised?
