This paper studies cast iron treated with rare earth alloys. In studying some of the liquid parameters of this cast iron, the hot metal solidification process was analyzed. In addition, the morphology and morphology of vermicular graphite during cast iron crystallization and the morphology of graphite inclusions were investigated. Using the “parabolic” type device designed by the Central Processing and Mechanical Manufacturing Research Institute, X-ray photography of the molten iron in a high-purity argon atmosphere was carried out.
