据了解,南京今年将投入4亿多元,大规模修整明城墙,建成明城墙风光带。南京城墙建于明朝初年,原长33.676公里,现存21.35公里。为明城墙申报世界文化遗产创造条件,继1994年、2001年的大规模维修之后,南京市有关部门今年将再次大规模修整明城墙。为使明城墙成为市民游览、休闲的新景点,南京建设部门决定同时对解放门至玄武门段、光华门至友谊村段等明城墙沿线进行环境改造,计划年内基本建成明城墙风光带。据悉,经过数百年的风雨,明城墙目前被分成7段。从长远规划看,全面修缮后的明城墙将会连成一片,届时人们就可在明城墙上绕南京城行走一周。

It is planned that the Mingcheng Wall Scenery Belt will be built basically during the year. It is reported that after hundreds of years of wind and rain, the Ming City Wall is currently divided into seven sections. From a long-term planning perspective, the well-remodeled Ming City Wall will be linked together, and people will be able to walk around Nanjing City on the Ming City Wall for a week.
