桂花是我国特有的园林观赏和经济树种,惟繁殖较困难.近几年来,我所邱宗渭等同志通过反复试验,应用塑料薄膜封闭育苗,获得了较高的成活率,一般高达95%以上,这为大量发展桂花开创了一条较好的途径.据统计,省内外10多个休业场圃应用此法先后育出30多万株桂花苗木.桂花封闭育苗成果已于1983年12月23日至25日在省林科所通过鉴定.与会代表一致认为,桂花采用封闭方法育苗,不但生根快,成活率高,而且方法简易,成本较低,只要截取
