为了实现公司可持续发展战略,淡水河谷不断投资开发新项目,其在北美洲、拉丁美洲和大洋洲新开发的六个项目,涉及铁矿石、铜、镍和钴等金属,总投资达220亿美金。另外,为了和“两拓”竞争中国市场,淡水河谷准备在中国建立一个全国性的铁矿石分销中心。
In order to realize the company’s sustainable development strategy, Vale is continuously investing in new projects. Its newly developed six projects in North America, Latin America and Oceania involve metals such as iron ore, copper, nickel and cobalt with a total investment of 22 billion US dollar. In addition, in order to compete with the Chinese market for “BTO”, Vale is going to establish a national iron ore distribution center in China.
