冶金部矿山司于1993年6月22日至23日,在大冶铁矿主持召开了“粉矿钻进技术与取芯钻具”和“地下矿山地测信息管理系统”两项成果鉴定会。为了解决粉矿中的探矿难题,由冶金探矿工程技术开发部、武钢矿业公司、武钢大冶铁矿和金山店铁矿共同承担的部重点科研项目YK60SF、YK75SF粉矿钻进技术与取芯研究,经过多年努力,完成了工业试验。与会专家通过审查资料和现场参观,一致认为:YK系列粉矿取芯钻具在绳索取芯的基础上,设计了双管双动超前、双管双动超前喷反、双管双动超前冲击、双管单动超前冲击及分流等钻具,其结构合理,工作可靠,互换方便,适应性强,在使用中大幅度提高了粉矿及“松、散、软”地层的矿芯采取
