2008年:25个国家种植了1.25万亩,全球市场价值达75亿美元,占全球商业种子市场的22%日前,植保(中国)协会召开转基因生物研讨会,探讨了转基因生物的环境安全性和健康安全性问题,并展示了生物技术所蕴含的巨大的社会、经济和环境效益。基因工程(又称转基因技术或农业生物技术)一直是全球科学、经济和政治界关注的热点。近年来,转基因生物安全性所遭遇的质疑此起彼伏,但都被科学研究结论一一否定。

Genetic engineering (also known as transgenic technology or agricultural biotechnology) has been a hot spot in the global scientific, economic and political circles. In recent years, the challenges encountered by the safety of GMOs come one after another, but they are all rejected by the conclusions of scientific research.
