经过一年的工作,新当选的中国科学院学部委员已经国务院批准公布了。这次学部委员增选工作参照了国外推选院士的作法,一开始就是严格按照国务院批准的有关程序和办法,按照统一标准和条件进行的。1990年12月3日,中国科学院学部委员增选工作开始进行。经过学部委员直接推荐,社会有关方面的推荐和初选两个渠道,共遴选出1079名有效后选人,又经过300余位现有学部委员的评审,最后采用无记名投票选举的办法,最终产生出210名新的学部委员。
After a year of work, the newly elected academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences has been approved by the State Council.
