本文综述了近十年来国内外关于麻黄附子细辛汤的研究。从脉证及药理研究、临床应用等方面作了阐述,认为本方的临床应用已涉及临床各科.远远超出原条文的证治范围.药理研究证实本方具有抗过敏反应和抗氧化作用;临床应用涉及内、外、五官等科疾病,内科用于太少两感证、咳喘证、心血管疾病、泌尿系统疾病及痹证等;外科可用于脱疽、阴疽、乳结、慢性荨麻疹与皮肤奇痒症、手足冻伤等;五官科可用于咽痛、失音、齿痛、面瘫、过敏性鼻炎及目疾等.
