或许很少有哪个国家,会像中国的知识分子这样,把职称看得如此重要。每当“职称评定季节”过后,评上职称的,志得意满,如范进中举。未评上职称的,如丧考妣,失魂落魄。不少人更是愤愤不平,或是从此消极怠工,或是与领导“干戈相见”——既然现行的职称评定存在着如此令人不快的是非,那还留它干嘛?废掉算了!什么理由?让我细细道来——理由之一: 外语考试无用之砖今年4月15日,是全国统一的职称外语考试日。笔者恰巧也是考生之一。尽管凭借连续几个月的“背功”之后,闯过了这道难关,但是步出考场,看着满操场考生们如蒙大赦似的一哄而散,心中不禁茫然:这种考试,究竟检验的是我工作中哪方面的水平?
