为更好地宣传百色、了解百色,充分发挥地方史志资政教化的作用,百色市委、市政府决定编纂《百色简史》,记述从史前时期至民国的百色历史,全面、系统地反映百色的发展沿革。2013年5月24日,百色市委、市政府召开《百色简史》编纂工作会议,正式启动《百色简史》编纂工作。百色市政协、史志办、文联、编委办、财政局、民政局、档案局、百色学院等单位以及百色市所辖12个县区分管领导参加会议。《百色简史》编委会主任黄桂宁对编纂提纲及书目基本构架作说明,并明确具体分工。《百色简史》
