河北是全国8个沿海省份之一,地处北京周围,战略位置十分重要。河北人民经过多年艰苦奋斗,特别是10年改革开放,大大促进了生产力的发展,国民经济和社会发展各个方面都取得了显著成就,经济实力大大增强。在社会经济的迅速发展中,特别是通过治理整顿,也暴露出了河北经济发展中存在的一些困难和劣势。未来10年是整个国民经济发展的关键阶段,为了保证第二步战略目标的实现,使河北的社会经济跃上一个新的台阶,在“八五”期间,应着力抓好目前经济运行中存在的主要矛盾和突出问题,解决制约河北经济发展的主要因素。
Hebei is one of eight coastal provinces in the country. It is strategically located around Beijing. After years of arduous struggle, especially 10 years of reform and opening up, the people of Hebei have greatly promoted the development of their productive forces and made remarkable achievements in all aspects of their national economy and social development with their economic strength greatly enhanced.
