法国VP建筑设计事务所参与辽宁省第十二届全国运动会场馆建设投标,并于2011年上半年中标,承接了辽宁省文化四馆,即图书馆、博物馆、档案馆和科技馆的统筹规划,以及辽宁省档案馆的设计工作。此次任务的设计主体为文化场馆,于是在设计之初便要充分考虑到辽宁当地的风土人情和文化传承特点。法国VP设计师借助于中国自然景观中田野的纹理,巧妙地通过规划建筑的手法,设计将四栋不同功能的文化建筑融合在同一空间平面上,围绕市民广场生长而出。各具特点的四栋建筑在空间组合上相辅相成又变化多端,每栋单体的内部景观庭院和外部公共
