2013年4月23日,在四川雅安地震灾情发生后的第三天,中国扶贫基金在北京召开了新闻发布会,公布了灾情发生至今所有通过中国扶贫基金会进行捐助的情况。其中,作为川企代表,黄老五食品第一时间发起了捐赠产品的号召,黄老五生产线全线生产,优先为灾区同胞供应黄老五酥类产品,推迟对全国市场所有订单的供货,直至灾情解除。如此快速反应,举十分之力援助同胞,感动全国。
