Luo Hongxia may not know how many years it takes other artists to create artworks that amaze the world, but she surely knows how many years she has taken to fascinate art-lovers all over the world. Probably her father knew how many years an artist took to mature. She started painting at age 10, meticulously coached by her father, a designer of industrial arts. She entered China Academy of Fine Arts in 1985, which marked a big leap in her career.
