作为第十届中国艺术节专业艺术单项评比展演系列活动之一,全国舞蹈比赛自1980年创办以来,已成功举办了9届(从2007年起规范为两年一届),走过这变革发展的三十余年,“全国舞蹈比赛”已成为与中国舞蹈“荷花奖”、“桃李杯”和“CCTV电视舞蹈大赛”共同引领中国舞蹈发展的品牌赛事。本届全国舞蹈比赛于6月29日至7月4日在革命历史文化名城临沂和美丽的海滨城市日照连续进行了9场决赛,160余部色彩纷呈的舞作令人应接不暇。无论从大赛的报名数量、参赛规模,还是作品质量上来看,都注定是值得庆贺而又必须追溯的盛大赛事。
