油雾润滑已广泛地应用在84时热带钢连轧机上的润滑作业上。总的体会是,当密封可靠,油雾能保证连续供给时,油雾润滑是一种先进的润滑方法。经验表明,油雾润滑不足之处是,当轴承密封不够理想时,油雾不能有效地清除水或其它污物,而且许多一般工作条件(例如分布头的低供油点,布油孔的微量污染或排气孔堵塞)都会停止油雾流动,因为油雾系统的工作压力低了。如果油雾装置的设计、安装和维护得当,则油雾润滑会是一种既经济又清洁的轴承润滑方法。
