1999年,三星电子推出了业内第一台多功能光驱——COMBO(康宝)SM-304,这款产品同时兼容CD-ROM、CD-R、CD-RW以及DVD-ROM功能。到了2001年,三星还推出了后续版本SM-308,时至今日,三星电子再次推出速度更快、性能更高的COMBO SM-316,在业界内继续走在了光存储设备多功能化的前列。 这款COMBO SM-316(软件识别为SM-316B)属于三星金将军产品系列,除面板外,机身整体呈金黄色,在同类产品中极为抢眼。不过机身颜色的靓丽倒是其次,毕竟装到机箱中只会有一个面板露在外面,其更大的意义在于能够更好地抵制假货。
