4月14日,北京大学新闻与传播学院与法国远东学院共同举办了中法系列讲座第五十一期《突飞猛进的一百年——从欧洲近代出版业的诞生到大众文化的勃兴》。大会邀请了法国凡尔赛大学当代史学教授、国民教育部“当代社会文化史中心”主任让—伊夫莫里艾教授作为主讲人,会议的组织者北京大学新闻与传播学院的萧东发教授在会议即将结束的时候也作了简短的发言萧教授简单的比较了近代欧洲出版业与中国古老的出版业之间的异同,指出了现在全球出版的发展态势是充满空间又必须“遭遇竞争的”,出版业的明天需要每一个出版人的努力。会后,很多听讲座的人纷纷提出相关问题,三个小时的会议延续了半个小时才结束。
On April 14, Peking University’s School of Journalism and Communication and French Far East College co-organized the 51st leap in the series of lectures on China-France “one hundred years of rapid growth - from the birth of modern publishing in Europe to the rise of mass culture.” The conference invited Prof. Jean-Yvmolei, professor of contemporary history at the University of Versailles in France and director of the Center for Contemporary Social and Cultural History of the Ministry of National Education as the keynote speaker and Professor Xiao Dongfa of Peking University’s School of Journalism and Communication to be near the end of the conference Xiao made a brief speech. Professor Xiao briefly compared the similarities and differences between the modern European publishing industry and the ancient Chinese publishing industry. He pointed out that the current global publishing development space is full of space and has to face competition. The publishing industry Tomorrow needs the efforts of every publisher. After the conference, many people who attended lectures raised questions one after another, and the three-hour meeting lasted half an hour before it ended.
