我省农学会于1979年3月在武昌召开1978年年会。参加会议的代表有农经、植保、土壤、牧医、棉麻、油料、粮食、园芝、茶叶和桑蚕十个专业学会的专家、教授、科技工作者和特邀代表共154人。省农学会理事长方敬之同志主持了会议。这次年会是在全党工作重点转移到社会主义现代化上来的重要时刻召开的,是动员全省农业科技工作者在党的十一届三中全会精神指引下进行新的长征,为加速实现农业现代化作出积极贡献的大会。
Agricultural Society of our province in March 1979 held in Wuchang in 1978 annual meeting. Representatives of the conference included 154 experts, professors, scientists and technologists and specially invited representatives from 10 professional societies including the agro-forestry, plant protection, soil, animal husbandry, cotton and linen, oilseeds, grain, garden shui, tea and silkworms. Provincial Agricultural Association Comrade Fang Jingzhi presided over the meeting. This annual meeting was held at an important moment when the focus of the entire party’s work shifted to the socialist modernization. It was an initiative to mobilize the entire province’s agricultural science and technology workers to carry out a new long march under the guidance of the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee. In order to accelerate the realization of Agricultural modernization made a positive contribution to the General Assembly.
