Especially after the reform and opening up, China’s establishment of a market economy has brought about new characteristics in the development of literature and cinema. This article takes the market economy as the research background, elaborates the current situation of the development of Chinese literature and film in this kind of background, the reason of this kind of present situation as well as the pertinent solution measure, and summarizes its future development prospect.
