著名农药学家、环境毒理学家、《农药学学报》顾问、美国加州大学戴维斯分校教授Fumio Matsumura因病医治无效,于2012年12月6日不幸逝世,享年78岁。Fumio Matsumura教授对农药作用的分子机理研究做出过重要贡献,是经典教科书“Toxicology of Insecticide”的作者,曾任“Pesticide Biochemistry andPhysiology”主编,获得过许多重要奖项,他的逝世是世界农药学界的一大损失。
Famous pesticide scientists, environmental toxicologists, Fumio Matsumura, a consultant for the Journal of Pesticide Science and a professor at the University of California at Davis, died of an unfortunate illness on December 6, 2012, at the age of 78. Prof. Fumio Matsumura made a significant contribution to the molecular mechanism of pesticide action. He is the author of the classic textbook “Toxicology of Insecticide”, former editor of “Pesticide Biochemistry and Physiology”, and has won many important awards. His death was A big loss in the world of pesticides.
