“土续断”名见诸《本草纲目拾遗》卷七“建兰花”项下,谓“根名土续断,治跌打和血”。“建兰”为兰科植物Cymbi-dium ensifolium（L.）Sw.与现代土续断不同,就甘肃地区土续断（甘续断）来说为唇形科糙苏属（Phlomis),与国内其他地区“土续断”来源相问。
The name “Soil Dips” refers to the “Cultivated Orchids” in Volume 7 of “Compendium of Materia Medica”. “Jianlan” is a Cymbidium species Cymbi-dium ensifolium (L.) Sw. which is different from the modern soil dips. It is the Phlomis of the Lamiaceae in terms of soil dips (Ganj续) in the Gansu region. In other regions, the source of the “diversity of the earth” was asked.
