This article reports the blood lipid levels of 1725 men and women aged from 25 to 64 in Harbin urban and rural areas. Among them, 964 were drinkers and 761 were non-drinkers. Blood lipids analysis according to WHO’s standard methods and quality control requirements. The results showed that serum HDL-C levels in drinking group were significantly higher than those in drinking group
