南开大学历史系刘泽华教授历经四年多时间完成的《先秦政治思想史》一书,是他多多年来教学和科研成果的总结。这部著作于1984年8月问世以来,在学术界、特别是在先秦史学工作者中间引起了比较广泛的注意,《人民日报》(1986年1月27日)、《读书》(1986年第8期)、《书林》(1986年第8期)、《先秦史研究动态》(1985年第2期)等报刊都刊登了关于这部著作的书讯和评介文章。日本和苏联的学者也在他们的文章中引用和介绍了这部书。《先秦政治思想史》还荣获了天津市1983至1984年度社会科学研究成果史学专著一等奖。
Professor Liu Zehua, a professor of history at Nankai University, completed the book “The History of Pre-Qin Political Thought” after more than four years, which is a summary of his teaching and scientific research over the past years. Since the publication of this work in August 1984, it has attracted a great deal of attention among academics, especially among historians of the pre-Qin period. People’s Daily (January 27, 1986), Reading (1986 8 Issues), Shu Lin (No. 8, 1986), Dynamic Research on the Pre-Qin History (No. 2, 1985) and other newspapers and periodicals published books and articles on this book. Scholars in Japan and the Soviet Union also cited and introduced this book in their essay. The History of Pre-Qin Political Thought won the first prize of the history monograph of social science research results of 1983-1984 in Tianjin.
