吴桥县是河北省第三批实现小康的县市之一。截止到1997年,全县仅有189个村实现了小康目标,占全县行政村总数39.9％。1998年,全县规划4个乡镇、216个村进入小康行列,约占乡镇村总数40％和46％。面对1998年度小康建设的艰巨任务,县委、县政府大力实施“一二三”战略(突出一个核心,抓住两大关键,强化三项建设),进一步夯实全县小康建设的基础。
Wuqiao County is one of the third batch of well-to-do cities and counties in Hebei Province. As of 1997, only 189 villages in the county have achieved the well-off goal, accounting for 39.9% of the total administrative villages in the county. In 1998, the county planned 4 towns and 216 villages to enter the well-to-do ranks, accounting for about 40% and 46% of the total number of towns and villages. Faced with the arduous task of building a well-to-do society in 1998, the county party committee and county government vigorously implemented the “one two three” strategy (highlighting one core, capturing two key points and strengthening the three constructions) and further consolidating the foundation for a well-off society in this county.
