全党工作的着重点转移到社会主义现代化建设上来,要求加速实现医学科学现代化。我军实现医学科学现代化,既要注意基础医学、临床医学、预防医学和军事医学几个方面的全面发展,又要体现军队特点,作到重点突出。由于林彪、“四人帮”的严重摧残,当前预防医学是我军医学的薄弱环节,所以尤其要引起重视,大力加以发展。
The focus of the entire party’s work has shifted to the socialist modernization drive, which calls for accelerating the modernization of medical science. To realize the modernization of medical science, our army must pay attention to the all-round development of several aspects of basic medicine, clinical medicine, preventive medicine and military medicine, and also reflect the characteristics of the armed forces so as to give prominence to it. Due to the serious devastation caused by Lin Biao and the “gang of four,” preventive medicine is currently the weakest link in our military medicine. Therefore, we should pay particular attention to vigorously develop it.
