1998年,在中央各部委中,来自各方议论最多,受到批评最多的大概就要数邮电部——今天的信息产业部了。 先是众媒体纷纷发难:《南方日报》、《中国改革报》、《中国计算机报》、《中国企业报》等,登出专家及大众对电信的意见;因特网上更是议论纷纷,在中国最著名的中文网站——《上海热线》的索易话题中,被谈论最多,批评最激烈的,也是中国电信。因为任何一个国家的上网者都没有中国网友这样的切身体会:我们的工资是美国人的十分之一,而上网费用却是他们的几倍甚至10倍!于是,众网友成了对中国电信部门意见最大的一群。 接着是济南市的沈教授,要以“民告官”的形式,状告中国电信,为中国8000万电话用户讨公道…… 至今,关于中国电信的话题,仍然是互联网上的热门话题。在索易热门话题中,为中国电信辩解的,只是个别人,大部分人持谴责态度。这也是互联网上极罕见的现象。为使读者对这场电信风波有所了解,本刊特编发了这一组稿件。
