The party constitution passed at the 15th National Congress of the Communist Party of China stipulates that the tasks of the Commission for Discipline Inspection at all levels are: safeguarding the party’s constitution and other laws and regulations in the party; assisting the party’s commission in strengthening party style building and checking the implementation of the party’s line, principles, policies and resolutions. Judging from these three major tasks, the discipline inspection organ is the guarantee supervision department under the leadership of the party committee and the party’s line, principle and policy, and is the discipline inspection department undergoing party discipline inspection.
