综观中外古今的企业,成功的关键不外乎以下四要素:一是明确专注的战略,二是不折不扣的执行,三是以绩效为导向的企业文化,四是高效率的组织结构。明确专注的战略。战略可以理解为:为实现某一目标而设计的重大的、长期的、全局的谋划,这种战略的主要目标可以帮助一个公司选择和组织它的业务,使企业健康发展;同时还包括创造或发现持续的、有生命力的未来业务。所谓明确专注的,就是毫不含糊地说清楚企业今天存在的理由,企业为什么存在?为谁存在?企业给他人甚至给社会带来什么?所以战略并不是一项业务计划或具体的战术方案,它考虑的是“企业存在的理由如何达成”的问题。
