尤金·奥尼尔的《悲悼三部曲》由《归家》《猎》《崇》三部分构成,其创作底版是古希腊剧作家埃斯库罗斯的《俄瑞斯特斯》,故人物相对应。艾斯拉·孟南之子奥林对应阿伽门农之子俄瑞斯忒斯,但二者结局迥然不同。弑母的俄瑞斯忒斯无罪释放,致母自杀的奥林则自戕而亡。本文将对其中的原因从社会环境、动机差异与自我选择三方面进行探究。
