2005年12月14日,无锡尚德太阳能电力有限公司以15美元的招股价在纽约证交所挂牌交易。开盘后价位跳至20.35美元,当天报收21.2美元。接下来一个多月,尚德持续飙升。到2006年1月10日,尚德股价已经冲破30美元。此举使之前鲜为人知的尚德及其创始人施正荣名动天下,也使其个人财富超过200亿元,成为2006年中国首富。2007年6月22日,尚德的股价依旧平稳,收盘于33.10美元。
On December 14, 2005, Suntech Power Co., Ltd. was listed on the New York Stock Exchange for a consideration of $ 15. After the price jump to 20.35 US dollars, the day to close at 21.2 US dollars. For more than a month, Suntech continued to soar. January 10, 2006, Suntech shares have exceeded 30 US dollars.
