在编制建德林场杉木林地位指数表的基础上,把与杉木生长有密切相关的立地因子与地位指数建立回归方程,再借助电子计算机解出方程中的参数,最后列出立地质量得分表,用这个得分表,不仅可以预测宜林地造林后杉木优势木的高生长趋势,确定林分的地位指数,而且还可以定量地给出各立地因子的单独贡献,它使有林地和无林地的立地质量有了统一标准,为选择杉木造林地提供科学依据。
