The BNV equation is used to discuss the relaxation process of the thermonuclear monopole giant resonance (GMR) formed by the heavy ion reaction. Calculations show that the GMR oscillation of the spherical thermonuclear isotropically, and the resonance energy is basically consistent with the value given by the formula of EGMR = 80A-1/3. Nuclear collisions and particle escapes are the main causes of the damping of the thermonuclear GMR.
