随着各国间经济、文化、商务往来的交流不断加强,英语逐渐成为一门实用的沟通语言,高校培养学生的英语能力也就显得更为重要。目前,我国高校英语教学由于受到传统教育模式和师生自身因素的制约,仍存在着诸多问题,影响了大学生英语能力的提高。本文从中国高校英语教学模式的现状出发,剖析中西方高校英语教学模式的差异,试图找出我国高校英语教育模式的问题,并利用教学法和跨文化交际的理论为当前的高校英语教学模式提出一些可行的建议,从而促进高校英语教学模式的改善与总体水平的提高。
With the continuous exchange of economic, cultural and business contacts between countries, English has gradually become a practical communication language. It is even more important for colleges and universities to develop students’ English proficiency. At present, due to the traditional education model and the constraints of teachers and students, there are still many problems in the college English teaching in our country, which affects the improvement of college students’ English ability. Based on the current situation of college English teaching model in China, this paper analyzes the differences between English teaching models in colleges and universities in China and tries to find out the problems of college English teaching model in our country. It also puts forward the current teaching model of college English teaching by using the teaching method and intercultural communication theory Some feasible suggestions, so as to promote the improvement of college English teaching mode and the overall level.
