让·端木松(Jean d’Ormesson,1925-),法国著名作家,法兰西学院院士。青年时期就读于巴黎高等师范学校,取得哲学教师资格。早年在联合国教科文组织工作,后担任《费加罗报》社长多年。其文学生涯是以写青年小说和爱情小说开始的,后来写历史小说和哲理小说,如《帝国的光荣》、《海关》和《上帝的愉悦》等。他出版小说二十多部,另外还有《夏多布里昂传》和《另一种法国文学史》。其小说展示出极丰富的想象力,并充满哲理,深受各阶层读者欢迎。晚年出版了一些随笔集,形式短小精悍,内容生动深刻,如《挺好的》等。以下是法国《读书》杂志2009年10月刊发的一篇对让.端木松的访谈,对于我们了解这位作家晚年的思想生活和文学创作主张很有意义。
Jean d ’Ormesson (1925-), a famous French writer, fellow of the French Academy. Youth in Paris Higher Normal School, made philosophy teacher qualifications. Earlier in the work of UNESCO, later served as “Le Figaro” president for many years. His literary career began with writing young novels and romance novels, and later he wrote historical novels and philosophical novels such as “Glory of the Empire,” “Customs,” and “Pleasure of God.” He published more than twenty novels, plus “Chateaubriand” and “Another History of French Literature.” His novels show a very rich imagination, and full of philosophy, welcomed by all readers. His later years published some essays, short and pithy, vivid and profound content, such as “very good” and so on. The following is an interview with Jean Doushomso published by the French magazine Reading in October 2009, which is of great significance for us to understand the author’s later years of his life in ideology and literary creation.
