合成孔径成像雷达的观测区域广阔,图像分辨精度高,具有数据率高、数据量大的特点。这就对数据的传输和存储提出了较高的要求。采取数据压缩方法,在不降低测绘带宽和测绘精度条件下,降低遥感雷达数据率和数据量,从而降低对数据链和星上数据存储设备的要求。文中在对块自适应BAQ原始数据压缩算法研究基础之上,提出了极坐标量化数据压缩算法,并对X-SAR原始数据进行了压缩试验,获得了满意的结果
Synthetic Aperture Imaging Radar has a wide observation area and high resolution of images with high data rate and large amount of data. This puts forward higher requirements on data transmission and storage. Data compression method is adopted to reduce the data rate and data volume of remote sensing radar without reducing the mapping bandwidth and precision of mapping, so as to reduce the requirements for data link and on-board data storage devices. Based on the research of the block adaptive BAQ original data compression algorithm, a polar coordinate quantization data compression algorithm is proposed, and the X-SAR raw data is compressed and tested, and satisfactory results are obtained
