Objective To investigate whether the physiological and psychological stress experienced by paratroopers during parachuting can change the biochemical indexes of the paratroopers. Methods The plasma and serum levels of hormones (cortisol, growth hormone, insulin, glucagon, corticoids, angiotensin I and II, aldosterone) in the control (parachute group) Activity (superoxide dismutase, glutathione peroxidase and glutathione S-transferase), free radical damage index level (MDA), tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF @) and the main Difference of heat stress protein (HSP70). Results The level of growth hormone, insulin, angiotensin I, renin activity, plasma malondialdehyde, TNFα, HSP70 and other levels in the parachute group were significantly higher than those in the control group. Conclusions These changes are likely to be useful biomarkers for assessing whether paratroops experience abnormal stress, evaluating their health status and choosing paratroopers, but further studies are needed.
