华语写成的早期美华文学代表作已列入美国文学经典,但在当代美国,排华主义话语系统依旧存在,美华文学研究者、美华史学家仍在为消除对美国华人的种族文化成见而努力。对于当代中国而言,美国排华主义传统不仅直接牵涉着美国对华政策,且经由美国大众文化的全球化而对中国民众构成着潜移默化的观念影响。以解构美国排华主义为问题意识的美华文学研究由此包含了重构中美文化关系、推出中国正面形象的跨国议程。
The early Chinese-American masterpiece written in Chinese has been included in American literary classics. However, in contemporary America, the Chinese discourse system still exists. The Chinese-American literary researchers and Meihua historians are still trying to eliminate ethnic stereotypes about Chinese Americans. Work hard. For contemporary China, the American tradition of the Chinese is not only directly involved in the U.S. policy toward China, but also exerts a subtle influence on the Chinese people through the globalization of American popular culture. The study of the United States and China in order to deconstruct the American anti-Chineseism is a transnational agenda that reconstructs the cultural relations between China and the United States and launches the positive image of China.
