杂交育成的鄂豆六号属中熟春大豆品种，其综合性状优良，抗逆性强，产量高，籽粒外观佳，蛋白质、脂肪含量超过国家大豆育种攻关目标。大面积生产示范平均单产３ ７２０ｋｇ／ｈｍ２ 。播期弹性大，对短日照反应钝感，春播、夏播均可获高产；秋播可获得较好收成。适宜在湖北全省和长江流域部分地区种植，可在多种熟制中配套种植。栽培技术上须把握好适时早播、适当密植、合理施肥、合理轮作间套种、田间管理到位和及时收获等主要环节
