Is embossed or flat printed Editorial Comrade: your issue of the second issue of this year, “the creation of the North Sea Bank and its initial issuance of banknotes”, the birth of the North Sea ticket after a very detailed account, after reading lessons. Only in the description of the printing process of the currency, there seems to be no place. This article on the North Sea ticket printing process is like this: “Zhang Yutian sent someone with a sample to Japan under the occupation of Qingdao, please Guanghua plate manager Ban Pengzhi plate”, made a “copper and zinc photographic version ... ... four sets (positive and negative a total of eight) ”;“ printing from the city with ... ... Yu Yu printing line printing, ”“ Stone Indian Dow note paper norms fine. ” At the end also focused on the affirmation: “are all printed with Dowling paper. The copper plate making excellent.” This involves two different printing processes. Copper and zinc photographic version: is a relief version, for printing machine convex, undoubtedly convex printing process. In the more difficult war environment, with eight pieces of copper and zinc photos, can independently undertake printing tasks. Lithographic: Lithographic printing is a process that is not popular in the case of offset press, is the main means of color overprint. Since the printing bureau in the county has lithographic technical equipment, it is entirely possible to complete the color printing of banknotes without the relationship with the copper-zinc photographic plates. It is not even necessary to venture into producing a copper-zinc photographic plate with votes for the enemy-occupied areas. So, the first North Sea ticket in the end is embossed or flat printed? Or more complex plano-overprinting? From the narrative method of the article, it seems that two different printing techniques are confused. From this, I feel that many of our coin lovers and researchers are often accustomed to carrying out research on the external conditions of distribution, circulation and graphic features, and often do not pay attention to students
