Japan’s “Lin Ye Shi Bao” August 1979 published Forestry Afforestation and Forestry Office afforestation class articles to introduce the development of Japanese tree breeding. In 1956, Japan’s afforestation and forestry department expanded its breeding team. Five national forest breeding farms and four sub-centers were established nationwide in 1957-60 (three in 1978).
