哈尔滨市职工医学院是1986年6月经省政府批准、卫生部备案,国家教委批准成立的成人高等院校,隶属于哈尔滨市卫生局,为处级事业单位。现有教职员工113人(其中离退休18人,在岗89人,停薪留职6人),在岗人员中具有正高级职称5人、副高级职称29人(高级政工师4名)、中级职称25人(政工师5名)。行政科室30人,其中14人承担教学任务;教学人员38人;工人21人。学院占地面积10615.33m2,建筑面积8300m2。固定资产500余万元(不包括房产值),教学设备350万元;图书1万册;食堂600m~2;有实验室11个,教学用车4辆。
