1927年12月1日,蒋介石和宋美龄在上海举行了规模盛大的结婚典礼。这是中国现代史上最著名的政治联姻。关于这种政治联姻的最形象表述可见《上海时报》文:“这是近年来的一次辉煌盛举,也是中国人的一个显赫的结婚典礼。一方是前南京军的统帅,中国当代的强人;另一方是跨政经两界,呼风唤雨的孔宋财团。”
On December 1, 1927, Chiang Kai-shek and Soong Mei-ling held a grand wedding ceremony in Shanghai. This is the most famous political marriage in the modern history of China. The most vivid account of this political marriage can be found in the Shanghai Times article: "This is a brilliant voyage in recent years and a prominent Chinese wedding ceremony, with the former being the commander of the former Nanjing Army and the strongman of contemporary China. The other party is a consortium of Kong Songs who cross the political, economic and political circles and do what is necessary.
