提高热效率、降低排放是内燃机工作者面临的重大课题。汽油机压缩比低,要改善经济性而提高压缩比则受到爆震的限制。燃油掺水这一技术可望能解决这一矛盾,故引起了人们的关注。但目前有几种掺水方法,如乳化法,需加较贵的添加剂,成本高,且乳化液容易分层,不能久存。又如进气管喷水法,降低了雾化质量,增加多缸机的分配不均匀性,推广较为困难。本文介绍的汽油机掺水蒸汽节油装置,可避免上述缺陷,具有推广意义。
