Pierre approached the dressy girl, she was lying on a worn bed on the verge of death. Pierre could see that the girl was a prostitute. Obviously, she was still “alive” on the ground that she had not yet reached the truck ready to tow her away. Pierre took this poor girl to his place of work, a non-governmental organization that specializes in helping stranded women.
