MES法是英文Modules of Employable Skill的缩写,可译为“就业技能模块组合”、“职业技能模式”、“模块培训法”等,是国际劳工组织(ILO)研究开发出来的一种先进的职业技能开发模式。MES法具有按需施教、以较少投入在较短时间内为社会培训出急需人才,以及能够使受训人员的职业技术技能得到较大提高、应变能力强等特点,能够满足目前职工继续教育所提出的适应性、短期性、灵活性等要求,尤其是适用于解决国有大中型企事业单位普遍存在的职工结构性失业问题,应当广泛地加以应用和推广。
